In the 3rd video of our series, ‘Dedicated Doctors’, we have Dr Anuj Tiwari, senior registrar at Dr. R.N. Cooper Hospital, Mumbai, who firmly believes in the word service before self. He has been working at the Covid ward tirelessly, serving his patients with single minded dedication.
He believes it’s time we as a society take all the precautions and stay safe as prevention is better than cure. What he also wants to convey is that Covid patients should not be shunned but given utmost care. He was also infected while on duty, but bounced back to work with the same dedication to serve his patients and get them back to normalcy.
He wants the society to respect the medical fraternity and take the prevention messages rather seriously.
He also has a strong message to give, that anyone who has recovered from Covid, please consider donating plasma if you’ve been asymptomatic for 4 weeks. It’s a quick procedure with hardly any side effects.
