Invite 21 Travel Bloggers & Photographers from the country to explore the region
Gujarat Tourism in Association with India Tourism, Mumbai organised a familiarisation (FAM) tour for travel bloggers and photographers to Saputara, Gujarat. 21 travel bloggers and photographers from various parts of the country joined the trip.
The objective of the trip is to promote the Ministry of Tourism’s Domestic tourism campaign ‘Dekho Apna Desh’. The tour further aims to promote the destination and showcase the unique experiences that Saputara offers for tourists.
On the first day, the bloggers and photographers were taken on a Heritage walk in Ahmedabad. The Ahmedabad heritage walk was a perfect induction to one of India’s first UNESCO world heritage cities. The walk called the ‘Mandir to Masjid’ walk started at the Kalupur Swaminarayan mandir and ended at the famous Jama Masjid. The stretch showcases heritage housing communities with their characteristic homes temples, chabutaras and the chowks – which even today buzzes with household gossip.
Over the next three days, the participants explored the various attractions in and around Saputara.
